If you have staff, you need payroll. The hassle of fulfilling all legal obligations (keeping adequate records, applying correct tax codes, RTI submissions, auto-enrolment pension, GDPR, completing your payroll year-end, P11D reporting, etc.) can be a real headache.

We take care of it for you. At Accountancy Scotland, we have proprietary payroll systems and processes that ensure that we make your payroll easy, efficient, highly secure and ensures that you are compliant with all of the legislation.

Once we have set it up, you simply tell us how much you want to pay your employees, we do all of the calculations and submissions, then we advise you the Net amount to pay each employee, how much you need to pay to HMRC and how much to pay for pensions.

GDPR compliant payroll

Many companies, accountants and payroll providers do not realise that GDPR is relevant in the payroll process, which can leave you open to enormous fines.

The GDPR regulations mean you now have the added complication of assessing the risk involved in storing and processing the confidential personal data of each employee. Printing and distributing or even emailing payslips exposes your payroll team to the risk of a data breach and fines from The Information Commission.

Our online payroll system is 100% secure and GDPR compliant giving your employees permanent any time online access to their payroll records, payslips and tax forms.

Real Time Information (RTI)

HMRC require information every single payroll, whereas previously this was once a year. This adds another layer of work and complexity for businesses, as well as the risk of a fine from HMRC.

Accountancy Scotland are fully RTI compliant, meaning that we are able to handle all of your RTI submissions.

Auto Enrolment Pensions

Since the Pensions Regulator introduced auto enrolment regulations, there are now a complicated set of rules governing the provision of pensions to staff.

As auto enrolment solutions providers we can handle this process for you for no additional cost.

HMRC deal with us

Accountancy Scotland take all of the hassle out of dealing with HMRC, as we deal directly with them on your behalf. This means that you have more time to focus on your business, and less time trying to deal with HMRC.

How much does it cost?

Our payroll is largely technology based, so the savings are passed on to your business. We charge a monthly flat fee for monthly payroll services, depending on the number of employees you have. You only pay this once, and it is not a per employee fee.
